Welcome to The Rose & Crown Welcome to the Rose and Crown traditional country inn, Cop Hill, Slaithwaite. Your hosts Steve, Craig & Darren Kerr, formerly of the Kings Arms, Grainsbar, Saddleworth. We hope to bring to the Rose and Crown everything you would expect to experience in a traditional inn at the heart of West Yorkshire. A brand new menu offering you traditional dishes, informal service and interesting wines and beers in a friendly and relaxed environment. All our food is cooked to order using the freshest, finest and where possible local ingredients. We offer guest ales including copper dragon best, black sheep best bitter and timothy taylors landlord along with a weekly rotating guest ale from one of the local micro-breweries. We have a sports room for all the live action, a function room with seating for up to 120 guests to cater for all occasions. Our restaurant has beautiful scenic views over colne valley and we serve food all day everyday from 12-8pm (later if pre-booked) so come and sample some of our fantastic specials prepared by our chefs John and Mel.
